In order to travel to Canada, and if the length of your stay is longer than six months, you will need a medical certificate. This certificate, according to the Embassy of Spain in Canada itself, must have been issued in the last three months and certify that 'you do not suffer from any of the diseases that can have serious public health repercussions in accordance with the provisions of the International Health Regulations of 2005'.

Each certificate must be conducted by our physician authorised by Immigration, who will immediately carry out the specific tests required by your visa.

In general, a chest X-ray, a urine test and a visit to the general practitioner are common requirements of this type of visa.
